A Quick Shot to New Haven

We are also 15 minutes from Downtown New Haven, Connecticut, the home of historic Yale University, Famous New Haven Style Pizza, the birthplace of the Hamburger and many other area attractions. New Haven is Connecticut's Arts and Culture capital, boasting three nationally renowned theaters, five museums, a symphony orchestra and other musical groups, galleries, festivals, shopping, a nightlife and entertainment district, monumental architecture and dozens of restaurants with global flavors.

Soundloft happens to have some of the first and largest casinos in America right in our backyard. With Foxwoods Resort and Casino, MGM Grand and Mohegan Sun, there’s plenty of options for casino excitement and entertainment within 40 minutes of the loft.

 

Mohegan Sun

Mohegan Sun, located in Uncasville Connecticut, was created in 1996 by the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut and features casino action surrounded by unique features such as a state-of-the-art Poker room, 6,000 slot machines, table games and horseracing. 

Mohegan Sun is also home to a 10,000-seat arena, a 300 seat Cabaret, an indoor 55-foot waterfall, the world's largest indoor planetarium dome, and the awe-inspiring Wombi Rock, a glowing crystal mountain made of imported stone. Mohegan Sun also is home to 40 new shops and restaurants, including celebrity chef owned or run eateries such as Michael Jordan's Steak House and Todd English's Tuscany.

Foxwoods & MGM Grand

Together with the MGM Grand at Foxwoods, Foxwoods Resort and Casino’s central location in Mashantucket, Connecticut makes it an optimal setting for both recreation and business.
